"I only had a day to send the recruiter my CV - all I did was enter my information and with the click of a button I got the finished product. It's a brilliant system." - John Reeds
Tell the reader you have the Skills required

Many recruitment agents and human resource managers don't fully understand the area they're recruiting for and simply match your skills with the job spec.

Don't become an expert in everything.

This is essential - many people put down they're an expert in everything but employer's don't want this. Unless the job requires more general knowledge, they're looking for expertise in a particular skill. You can't know everything so make sure you pitch your skills according to the job on offer.

The initial scanning process recruiters go through will consist of checking your skill set against the spec. If they can't see your skills without reading through paragraphs of text your CV will get thrown in the bin. Our skills section is simply formatted to allow for easy matching. You want to make sure the reader can see where your expertise lies.
